About Us
Maritime License Training Co is an Atlantic Beach Florida based
corporation. Our mission is to provide professional training and
assist mariners who are either entering the marine workforce or
upgrading an existing license.
Our school was started in 1999 because we owned a marine towing
and salvage company with 3 work boats and 4 tugboats. We really
had a hard time finding qualified people and decided to train new
employees. Local tug companies heard about what we were doing
and asked us to train their employees also.
From there, we started a regular school.
But we still keep our hands on the wheel so to speak and still enjoy
playing around on boats. You'll find that difference makes it much
easier for you in quality of education, cost and ease of scheduling.
